Hans grew up in the small town of Scandinavia, WI. His family didn't have a lot back then but they always made due and used creativity in place of material items.

​

He started weight lifting at an early age and began playing sports as soon as he could. Hans went on to be the starting quarterback in high-school and an all-conference pitcher in baseball. Sports and exercise always ranked as a high priority in his life.

​

After working for Anytime Fitness as a Club Manager then Personal Training Director, Hans fell in love with personal training. He put everything he had into his own clients results while teaching other trainers how to achieve the same results. Hans then made the cautious leap into founding his own fitness training brand. FIRE Fitness Camp® was born in 2014 and now has over twenty franchise locations, hundreds of coaches, and thousands of clients.

He and his partner Payal Patel launched their own health supplements brand in 2023 entitled Rehab Supplements Lab®. 

​

Now, Hans still enjoys sinking his teeth in the challenges of his role as CEO and always looks forward to the opportunity to help more people with their health and fitness.

​

FUN Fact: Hans has participated in many national television shows like C.S.I. Crime Scene Investigation, Dr. Phil, What Happens in Vegas, Let's Ask America (game show) and was a contestant on NBC's Deal or No Deal where he won $44,000 and an Islandic Pony for his daughter Savannah.

​

He also was hired as a bodyguard to the real Henry Hill - infamous mafioso from the Lucchese crime family. Also portrayed in the film Goodfellas (1990).
